Girls Weekend gettaway

Last Friday My sister Ashley, Jill, Amy, and I headed out for a weekend get away just us girls. Thanks to Margo and Robert Fuller for allowing us to use their cabin!! We left at about 6 and got there about 9 or so after making our grocery stop at Walmart in Payson.

Wow, where do I begin...there is a lot I probably wont be able to share with you all due to "the Vault" (can't share with others) but here's what I can share...I think:

Friday night we stayed up till about 1 chit chatting and ending our night with a little truth or dare. I was the only one that came up with dares and I can't lie I had some good ones. Like Amy had to see how many crackers she could fit in her mouth...I would share a picture but I don't want to ruin my chances at friendship with her :). Actually I had written 4 dares and Amy got all of them! It was quite funny.

Saturday Jill woke us up early for breakfast, okay maybe 9 isn't early but this is why we got away was to sleep in! Jill is use to getting up at 7 with her young ones so we aren't too hard on her. We then spent the next 4 hours watching "North and South" which of course we love...Team Thornton!! After hours of being inside we decided to explore the outdoors. Of course Ashley had her camera and was going crazy! We then spent the next hour just taking pictures of us and being completely silly. It was fun, I felt like a kid again.

After hours outside we then had dinner. Ashley made us great Cordon Blue, despite the Parmesan cheese she insisted we had to have and made Amy and Jill go ask the neighbors for. Luckily for them the gate into their yard was locked...shucks. After dinner we then just sat...and sat...and sat waiting for it to get a little later for us to play our Dare. I leave out the Truth because we dedicated this for just dares. After realizing it's not going to get late soon enough we started. This is when Jill decided we had to stay up till 3am.
our dare bowl!

Oh Dare, it was tons of fun. Too much to say and not enough time to share before the other girls come to beat me up so not going there. I think I am safe with a few. Like Ashley was dared to put lipstick and mascara on someone else blind folded! She picked Jill. Another one, I had to call the person to the right of me, their husband and say "...Me Love you long time..." Well ashley was to my right and Yes oh yes I had to call my brother in law and say those words +more!
After finishing all our dares we then decided to split up into two groups and come up with cheers about our trip to far. I will share one with you. I was with Jill and she came up with idea. It goes:

I teach preschool,

you can't hear me,
show me your fingers. (again) show me your fingers.

You get what you get,
and you don't throw a fit,

show me your fingers. (Sherry) show me your fingers.

The whole time whispering the cheer.

For those of you who don't know Amy she is a preschool teacher and naturally she is a quiet girl. In fact several times during the trip I had to ask her repeat herself even though she was sitting a few feet away from me! She's a good sport, Love ya Amy.

Then at 10 we realize 3 is going to take a WHILE!! We then danced around, Ashley and I, and then I taught the girls, mainly Amy, to "Shake your booty". Oh man, good times. All I gotta say is Cry baby!

Then after Me making a fool of myself we got out guitar hero and rocked the house. Surprisingly we stayed up till 4:30 playing it. I can't say Amy did because she was half asleep. I only think she woke up when she heard us say "Is she asleep? Can we hide her brush now?" which was several times. Guitar Hero was a blast.

We woke up Sunday at about 10-11ish. Well I will be honest I got up at about 11:30 or so but I did wake up to make breakfast at 10!, then went back to bed. We got on the road at 2 and headed back. Of course we had to stop to take yet another picture of us in the snow, which was a patch! Then Jill started a snow ball fight. After getting back on the road we made a Quick stop at Cheesecake Factory.

All in all it was a very memorable and eventful weekend and I can't wait for another one! Thanks to the girls for each being so different yet so lovable!! I admire all of you...

Till next time!

Just wanted to show off our new door sign I put up about 2 weeks ago. I saw it on Amy's house and thought it would be perfect for mine too so thank you Amy! It really makes a difference to our house and adds a little to the outside. Plus I wanted to show Amber what I got her for her xmas gift since she hasn't gotten it yet...Errrr...

You can see it from the road too....

Italy

I took sometime yesterday and today to make a book for some (can't say all because there are way too many) of my pictures of my brother Marc and I's trip to Italy in May of 2006. Oh good times...I really didn't have to do much because the pictures are just so gorgeous, thanks to Marc! And yes all pictures were taken by him, even the pictures used for each city front page..He's that good!

Brooklyn loves her cousins!

Adam and Brooklyn playing. It was so cute when she first saw him because she went crazy and started talking like she had just seen him in heaven and had so much to say! Adam and her are only about 2 weeks apart. Unfornately Adam and his family live in OK and we don't get that much time with them but it was very nice to be with them and to hang out! Love you guys!!

Brooklyn loves Taylor so much, she loves it when she is all up her face and enjoys her attention! I wonder if she will always look up to her and want to hang out with her?! Taylor got her laughing really good and I only got a minute of it but she kept it going for about 5 minutes or so!
