Thanks Ash...

So I totally stole this from my sister's blog but you will love it!!!

I woke up saturday morning at 6:45 to go yard sale shopping with Lindz. We hit up about two or three. I found cute lamps I need to spray over and she walked away with a really nice vase for 2 bucks. We felt pretty good about what we found. Then we headed down to main street in mesa because my mother in law was telling me about this spring fling sale they were having right down by where she gets her hair done. It was really fun, they had all kinds of things but mainly arts and crafts. Lindsay and I decided instead of buying them we would make some things ourselves which would be cheaper and give us something to do. Must say yard sale shopping wasn't in our plans anymore... So we went to Joanns, Scrapbook store in mesa, and headed back to my place to start. They ended up being really cute and fun to make. We will definately have to do it again sometime. And we are planning on going out to Queen Creek on May 10th for their huge Spring fling sale from 9am to 3pm. It will be fun, let me know if you want to tag along or want any info on it....

This is my art work...I am gonna get a Black and white Picture to go in the middle which will look great. I think my next project will be to make a few small ones for Brooklyn's room...

Lindsay's art work. She still hasn't decided if she will use a black and white picture or color. (we used my picture because it was the perfect size and we were at my place)

Trip to the Zoo

This past friday I was able to go to the zoo with my sister Ashley and my two adorable nieces and we had a Blast!! We got to the zoo around 3 which was perfect because thats when everyone was leaving so we got a perfect parking spot and enjoyed the less crowded park. We started off by going to the "water park" which is fountains that come out of the ground. It was fun to watch Taylor run around everywhere, it was really hard to get a good picture of her because she couldn't stay put in one spot longer than two seconds. Kaylee really enjoyed it when I joined her in the water holding her, she wasn't as scared. I would say most of our time there was spent in the water play area. Then we went around one circle to the monkeys which Kaylee loved. She makes the most adorable monkey noise but you have to really listen for it. After finishing the circle with the otters, more monkey's and other animals we ended our excitment with the mary-go-round. It was a fun little trip and thankful for ashley for having me!

Motherly look

So today I went and got a hair cut, thanks to lindsay and her friend jessica. I decided to go back to short hair although it isn't as short as I am use to. Jessica did a great job. I love that its light and short especially with the summer coming up. I took some pictures to show everyone. Now my look is complete with a pregnant belly and the new motherly hair cut...Tell me what you think!

On FMLA

So, yes yes its been a while and I am sorry. Life has been hectic recently with work, baby, housing, etc. Last tuesday I went to my doctors and again my blood pressure was really high, luckily my doctor agreed to put me on FMLA now which means I get 13 weeks off of work for baby time. Right now its to relax and when the baby comes that will be a different story. Since last wednesday I have been a free lady, which is funny because everyday I have been running errands and staying busy so it doesn't even feel like it. We have alot happening in the next little while with our lease coming to an end on 05/31 and Brooklyn due on 05/20, clark is waiting to hear back on a position at work which helps determine whether or not I go back to work after Brooklyn comes, etc. So it is no suprise to me that I have high blood pressure but I need to relax more! It has been nice to not have to worry about work and getting everything else taken care of. Well, there is my update for now...If you ever have a free day you can always hit me up!!

Trip to Utah...

Ok so where to start....hmm...We had a heck of a weekend in Utah meeting Clarks BYU buddies, hanging out with family, going to conference, and much more. We arrived in Utah on friday morning and spent that day driving around BYU with Clark hearing about all his funny stories, seeing where he stayed, and also going to the book store. After that we met up with his old friends Corby and Richard. It was so nice to finally meet them and put faces to their names, they are alot of fun. We all went out to dinner with Cody and Amber meeting up too. It was a great time.

On saturday after watching Conference Amber and I headed off shopping to the famous Tia Pan. It was a great store and I couldn't believe the prices. We then went to Ikea, michaels, and my favorite: Archivers. (they have it in MN but haven't made it down to AZ yet, which is crazy!!) Amber and I met up with our hubbys at Red Robin after Priesthood. The rest of the evening us girls (corby, amber and I) chated away while making Brooklyn her initials to put in her room and they boys played ps3. We called it a night at like 2:30 but Clark and Richard stayed up till 6 in the morning. Yeah, they are crazy. Clark said he hasn't stayed up like that in years, he can't even remember the last time he did.

Sunday we watched morning session and then headed to SLC with Amber and Cody to the 2nd session of general conference. It was my first time in Tempe square for many many years, I don't even remember how old I was the last time I was there. Richard's brother Scottie gave us his tickets which was really nice of him. It was a really neat experience to be there in the conference center, to hear MoTab live, and to be so close with the Prophet and the Apostles. I really enjoyed the talks and to hear President Monson close the meetings. He is the only man who can have you laughing and then crying within seconds apart! It really hit me when he closed with " I will pray for you Brother and Sisters and you pray for me and together we can achieve much." (sadly they don't have his exact words yet) What a great man.

We then spent the rest of the day in SLC. We were on vacation and needed to stay in the city to pick up our rental car at the airport at about 8 so we went out to dinner. We were bad and what was ironic was that our waitress's name was Sin. (Its pernounced Seen) We later got our rental car and headed back to Orem to spend the night at Amber and Cody's. Man did we all sleep well and hard that night.

Monday morning Clark and I went and visited my Grandpa Farmer and Lilian in American Fork. Luckily they were home and we got to spend some time with them. They took us out to lunch to Wendy's, which was nice of them, and enjoyed being with them. It was soo cute, Lilian ordered a Stack attack and Grandpa ordered a Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger. When they sat down they ate each others' food without noticing. Clark and I couldn't say anything, it was too cute. Afterwards we then drove up to provo canyon and enjoyed the cool weather. It was snowing off and on all monday morning. Well, we said goodbye to Provo, Orem and SLC late last night after our flight was delayed about 2 hours!!

Thank you to all who helped make this weekend a fun one!! We had a blast...
